Aurora Alimentos has put 1,283 workers on paid leave for 30 days due to falling demand for Brazilian poultry meat

By: The company said in a statement that it's cold storage capacity has reached its limit, with the result that production must now be slowed. This will be the second of such actions by Aurora, with a third to be considered in July.
This announcement comes in the wake of poultry giant BRF's CEO resigning and the EU banning imports of Brazilian poultry meat.
