New Cobb Management Guide series

UK - The new-style Cobb Broiler Management Guide is the first of a series of guides providing technical information in an easy-to-update format.

New Cobb Management Guide series - UK - The new-style Cobb Broiler Management Guide is the first of a series of guides providing technical information in an easy-to-update format. Cobb-Vantress - Primary Broiler Breeders

With the company now producing a range of breeds for different market sectors, the management guide contains detailed husbandry information and advice, which applies to all its broilers with data specific to each breed provided in separate supplements.

“As the Cobb family of products has grown, so has the requirement for breed-specific technical material,” says Steve Iseler, director of marketing, Cobb Vantress Inc. “Our goal is to provide this material in a well thought out, organized fashion, allowing customers to take full benefit of our unparalleled technical service system.”

Each guide is color coded to identify the breed to which it relates — with auburn for Cobb 500, yellow for Cobb 700, light blue for Cobb Avian 34/43 and dark blue for Cobb Avian 48.

The Broiler Management Guide is available with the supplement for the Cobb 500 covering growth rate, feed conversion and cumulative feed consumption tables by day of age for sex separate and as hatched broilers.

Another first is the Cobb 500 Product Profile which details performance and information from breeder to processing, and the ‘bottom-line’ benefits which have made the breed the world’s most successful chicken.

Currently Cobb produces a wide range of guides covering breeder, hatchery and broiler management as well as nutrition and quality assurance.
