Print This Page Increasing broiler expertise
US - Andrew Bourne has joined the Cobb World Technical Support Team as a broiler specialist, operating out of the UK base of Cobb Europe.
He will work alongside Matthew Wilson in providing specialist advice to customers worldwide as a member of the team set up by Cobb-Vantress Inc to make available top-level expertise in areas key to success of chicken production.
Mr Bourne, who is 37, has experience in the chicken industry in South Africa and most recently in the UK where he has been a director of a contract broiler business since 1999 producing 450,000 birds / cycle on four units.

He has studied at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa where he has obtained degrees in animal science, poultry science and business administration. He has also worked in pig breeding in both the USA and UK before specializing in poultry.
Mr Bourne, who is married, speaks English and Afrikaans and lists spearfishing among his hobbies.
