Cobb Europe in larger distribution partnership with Cobb Germany - EU - Following several years of successful partnership, Cobb Europe and Cobb Germany have entered into an agreement to increase Cobb Germany's distribution territory to cover a further 17 countries within the European Union and Eastern Europe.

Together with Germany itself, this expanded area of responsibility covers several million Cobb broiler breeder sales and incorporates many of the future growth markets within the region.

Cobb Germany, which was formed in January 1998, will now market Cobb parent stock in these additional countries: Poland, Greece, Ukraine, Hungary, Czech Republic, Belarus, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Austria, Cyprus, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Albania, and Macedonia.

From April 1 Cobb Germany will be directly responsible for sales, distribution and technical service for the existing and potential customers in the territory. They will work closely with Cobb Europe, which will continue to provide the technical training and specialist expertise, and commercial support, for which Cobb has a leading worldwide reputation.

"With Cobb Germany already playing a major role in supplying many of these customers, we anticipate that the change will be smooth and seamless," says Brian Cosgriff, general manager, Cobb Europe. "Cobb is pleased to be associated with such a strong partner and we feel confident in placing this further responsibility with them in pursuit of future growth here in greater Europe."
