SADA re-appoints Hybro as No.1 supplier of broiler breeders
SPAIN - SADA Group Spain has re-appointed sister-company Hybro BV as lead supplier, following extensive trials with Hybro G+ breeders over the past eighteen months. The new agreement means that Hybro will double its share of breeder stock supplied to Spain’s leading integrator from July this year.
SADA Managing Director Mr. Javier Rodriguez comments: “We are delighted that Hybro has made the grade so emphatically. SADA introduced the enhanced G+ breeders in 2003 – and they have performed exactly in line with all our expectations.
" We see great performance from the G+ broilers and breeders, something that no supplier has been able to substantiate previously. The enhanced Hybro birds deliver well-balanced performance throughout the integration – and excellent results right where it counts: on the bottom-line.”
Mr. Rodriguez also dispelled any myths that Hybro was a ‘poor relation’ in the broiler breeding sector. “From SADA’s point of view”, he said, “the message is very clear and simple. Our commercial decisions are based on performance - and Hybro is back in a very strong position with our operation because it has earned that right, based on our criteria for breed selection and Hybro’s openness and tenacity in seeking to meet our requirements”.
Mr. Rodriguez joined Mr. Richard Maatman, general manager Hybro, in commending Carmelo Corral for his dedication to working in partnership with SADA over the past 3 years. “Carmelo has been the lynchpin of our continuing relationship with Hybro”, said Mr. Rodriguez. Mr. Maatman added that news of the new SADA contract was the ‘crown’ in Carmelo’s tenure as Hybro’s representative for Spain and Portugal, as he has taken the position of area manager for Mexico and parts of Latin America from April 1st.
Mr. David Jiménez, who joined Hybro to work alongside Carmelo Corral earlier this year, has replaced Corral as Hybro’s commercial representative for Spain & Portugal.
