Aviagen Adds Sales and Marketing Support in Asia
UK - Aviagen, the world's leading poultry breeding company, has appointed Ms. Orapan Chansawat as Regional Marketing and Sales Co-ordinator for Asia. In this role, she will be responsible for customer sales coordination and regional marketing activities for all Aviagen brands in Asia.
Ms. Chansawat spent five years at Saha Farms, one of Thailand's leading chicken meat producers and exports before joining Aviagen. At Saha, she was responsible for breeding stock coordination, marketing and public relations. She also oversaw the import of grandparent breeding stock, food ingredients and machinery, and the export of parent stock chicks to many Asian countries.
"Orapan is a valuable addition to the Aviagen team," said Paul Gittins, vice president of Aviagen Asia. "As Asia is forecast to become one of the largest chicken production markets in the world, it is important that we strengthen our capability to serve our customers in this region through the skills and knowledge of a local manager."
Based in Bangkok, Ms. Chansawat will work closely with Aviagen customers throughout Asia, the Asian trade press, Asian exhibitions and the marketing and sales departments of Aviagen in both the USA and the UK.
