Aviagen Appoints Dominic Elfick Director of Research and Development
US - Aviagen, the world's leading poultry breeding company, has appointed Dominic Elfick as director of research and development for Aviagen in North and South America.
In this role, he is responsible for all R&D input to and from the region's customers as well as the trials coordination and reporting at Aviagen's Product Development Center in Albertville, Alabama.
"Dominic's many years of experience, specifically within Aviagen's genetics team, is a tremendous advantage for this company and for our customers," said Randall Ennis, president of Aviagen, Inc. "His appointment demonstrates our commitment to developing the best selection techniques and practices to further add value to our breeding stock."
Mr. Elfick brings more than 10 years of experience in the poultry industry, most recently serving as a program and trials geneticist for Aviagen where he was responsible for the implementation of breeding strategy into the Aviagen pedigree program in Crossville, Tennessee, and reported on product development trials in Albertville.
