Print This Page Manure handling with a 21st Century twist
US - Right in line with the theme "Manure Handling for the 21st Century," new technology played a major role in last week's Manure Handling Expo at the Southern Research and Outreach Center.Some high-tech highlights included: Odor detection and metering, odor filtration and water separation.
Larry Stowell, a regional sales manager for New Logic Research, Inc., said advancements have been made in water separation technology.
"Over 80 percent of the water can be extracted, and it's clean enough to use as drinking water," he said.
