Aviagen Strengthens Customer Support in Asia
ASIA - Aviagen, the world's leading poultry breeding company, has appointed Bill Souther as vice president, Asia.![]() |
In this role, he will have full responsibility for mainland China and will be a member of the company's Asian customer focus team. Additionally, he will be instrumental in providing the highest quality of service and support to the customers and users of Aviagen products in this region.
Souther comes to Aviagen from Cobb-Vantress where he most recently served as director of the Asia business unit. Prior to joining Cobb, he was vice president of operations at Peterson Farms. He began his career in poultry integrations throughout the southeastern United States.
"Bill brings to Aviagen nearly 27 years of experience in the poultry industry," said Bob Dobbie, president of international business. "His significant international experience, specifically in the Asian market, will be a tremendous asset to Aviagen and to our customers."
