Print This Page Call for ban on chicken wings grows louder
BARBADOS - There's more support tonight for Barbados to put a temporary halt on the importation of chicken wings.It's coming from the Barbados Agricultural Society.
Chief executive officer, James Paul, says such a move would be welcomed by the industry.
The alarm was raised earlier this week by the president of the Barbados Egg and Poultry Producers Association, Carlyle Brathwaite.
He said there is so much chicken in cold storage, that it's taking up a lot of the available space and costing the industry millions of dollars.
