Hungary - First Half Production and Sales

Hungary's Central Statistical Office reports that the production of poultry and poultry products in Hungary in the first half of this year was 9.8 per cent higher than in the same period in 2005.

Poultry industry sales in the January to June period were 6.8 per cent higher year-on-year, including a 7.9 per cent increase in sales on the domestic Hungarian market and 4.8 per cent higher sales on export markets.
