Lithuania'sFirst-Half Poultry Imports Drop Slightly
LITHUANIA - Statistics Lithuania reports that Lithuania imported 15,559 tonnes of poultry meat in the first half of this year, a year-on-year fall of 4.2 per cent, according to Baltic Business News.
First-half imports from the United Kingdom, Denmark, Germany and Latvia were higher than in the same period in 2005, but imports from Poland and the Netherlands were lower.
