Aviagen Group Establishes Italian Company
ITALY - Aviagen Group, the world’s leading poultry breeding company has announced the addition of a new company to the Group, Aviagen Italia srl. The move underlines the company’s commitment to the Italian marketplace and its growing customer-base.Aviagen Italia srl will manage the distribution, sale and technical support of Ross parent stock in Italy from 1st September 2007. Ross Italia, a franchised distributor, owned jointly by Camillo e Filippo dal Verme and Valentino Brianza will cease to represent Aviagen from 31st August 2007.
Claudio Ambrogio has been appointed General Manager of Aviagen Italia and will take up his position on 1st June. Claudio has many years experience of the Italian poultry industry and of the Ross brand. He has been a highly respected Technical Services Manager at Ross Breeders Limited and as a result is well-known to Italian and European customers. More recently, Claudio has been Production Director with Hyline in Italy.
In a related move, Carla Dell’Acqua will join Aviagen Italia as sales and customer co-ordinator. Carla has been involved with Ross and Aviagen products for over 35 years and is extremely well known in the Italian poultry industry.

We will be able to give them well-informed technical assistance, supported by Aviagen’s worldwide experience of nutrition, flock management, veterinary health and poultry genetics. Claudio and Carla bring an unrivalled level of experience and enthusiasm to the business. This change will certainly enhance our service to customers.”
