Aviagen Appoint Regional Technical Manager
TURKEY - Aviagen, the world’s leading poultry breeding company, have appointed Michael Garden as Regional Technical Manager for Turkey, the Middle East and Africa. In this role, he is responsible for co-ordinating the provision of technical service to Aviagen customers within this region and will work closely with Tom Exley, Business Manager for the area, in developing and implementing the company's action plans.Michael will commence his new responsibilities in May 2007 and will work closely with Bruce Evans, who moves into his new role as Regional Technical Manager for Asia, to ensure a smooth transition and continued customer support.
Michael has been part of Aviagen’s Technical Team for the past four years providing technical service to Aviagen customers in Asia. Michael brings to the role a wealth of experience and in-depth knowledge of the poultry industry, having previously worked with major poultry producers in the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia.
Tom Exley commented: “We are delighted to welcome Michael to the team. With his varied experience in breeder and broiler management, especially in hot climates, Michael will be a tremendous asset to the team and our customers in the region.”
