British Turkey Climbs Aboard Red Tractor

The Red Tractor now appears alongside the red, white and blue Quality British Turkey mark, the guarantee of some of the highest standards of food safety, traceability and bird welfare in the world.

Only turkey which is already approved under the Quality British Turkey scheme can carry the distinctive Red Tractor, the mark of food produced to high standards of food safety. The Red Tractor already appears on a number of other foods which reach its strict standards, including chicken, pork, beef, lamb, dairy, produce, sugar, flour and cereal.

The inclusion of Quality British Turkey into the Red Tractor scheme means you can enjoy a complete Red Tractor Christmas dinner this year, with farm assured chipolatas, roast potatoes, sprouts and parsnips. But remember British Turkey is in the shops all year round - look out for British turkey mince, stir fry strips, diced meat for casseroles, fillets and joints.
