Print This Page Jan-Sept Agrarians Poultry Sales Up 21.2%,
UKRAINE - Within Jan-Sept 2007 agricultural companies have raised poultry sales to 472,572 MT, up 82,683 MT (+ 21.2%) against Jan-Sept 2006, reported State Statistics Committee.As for poultry sales structure, companies have sold 12.2% total poultry to processors; 0.2% poultry were given to population (incl. public catering system) on account of salaries; 5.8% were sold on markets.
As to report, 81.8% poultry were sold through other trade channels.
As to Committee, within Jan-Sept 2006 agrarians had sold 389,889 MT poultry.
