Bioproperties' Tinworth Recognised

AUSTRALIA - RMIT University, Melbourne, has conferred a Doctor of Applied Science honoris causa on David Tinworth.

The citation states, 'David holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) and is the Founder and Managing Director of Bioproperties Australia, an animal health company committed to maintaining animal health manufacture and product development in Australia.'

Bioproperties is now a key supplier of vaccines and R&D for the Australian poultry industry, and globally provides a resource of new live vaccines for poultry and other farmed animals. The company has developed and manufactures live viral and bacterial vaccines including the mycoplasma vaccines, ts-11 & MS-H.

Currently, more than half of the company's production is exported and distributed by large multinational animal health companies around the world.
