Record-Breaking Egg

The egg has received a lot of attention, reports Daily News & Analysis.

The 10-month-old hen, weighing 1.25kg, has been laying eggs for the past four months but one that she laid last week surprised poultry farm owner, Surinder Kumar Joshi.

"It was a pleasant surprise when we saw the egg. The same hen like other hens of her breed and most others normally lay eggs weighing between 50 and 60 grammes," said Mr Joshi.
