Print This Page Suguna Sets up Feed Mill
INDIA - Suguna Poultry, one of the largest poultry firms in the country, has opened its state-of-the-art feed mill with an investment of 550 million rupees at Hoskote in the Bangalore district of the state of Karnataka.A press release said the feed mill will benefit about 2,000 farmers in Karnataka, while providing direct employment to more than 800 people and indirect employment to about 2,000, according to New Kerala.
The feed mill will source about 1,500 metric tonnes of raw materials per day from maize cultivating farmers in and around the state.
It is reported that the mill will produce mash, pellets and crumbles.
