Aviagen: Cooperation in Belarus Commences
BELARUS - Aviagen and Belpticeprom reached an important agreement to jointly develop the Belarusian poultry industry. The agreement was signed during a visit of a delegation from Belpticeprom to Aviagen's Edinburgh headquarters.As part of this agreement, Belpticeprom will become the exclusive distributor of Ross parent stock in Belarus. This is a ground-breaking step for the Belarusian market, creating a local production base to satisfy domestic demand for parent stock.
Belpticeprom is ideally suited to become the producer of Ross parent stock in Belarus as they are investing in brand-new, state-of-the-art facilities in five different locations around the country's capital Minsk. The annual production target exceeds one million parent stock and Aviagen will support Belpticeprom in the production process and provide extensive technical service.
Natan P. Pohilenko, deputy of director of RO Belpticeprom said: "The relationship between Belpticeprom and Aviagen is already well established and we look forward to continuing to work closely in the future. Ross products have proven to be very successful in the region and we are proud to be the official supplier of Ross parent stock to the Belarusian market. Both companies are committed to ensuring that the Ross brand goes from strength to strength in Belarus."
