Print This Page Hopes for Haiti Clear of Bird Flu
HAITI - The veterinary authorities sent a follow-up report to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) regarding an outbreak of low-pathogenic avian influenza (LPAI) of the H5N2 sub-type.
The authorities sent the initial report in June 2008.
The follow-up report, dated 13 November 2008, says there have been no further outbreaks of avian flu in the meantime.
