Print This Page WHO Updates Toll for Human Cases of Bird Flu
GLOBAL - With the latest reported death of a human patient in Egypt from the virus causing highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI), the World Health Organization (WHO) has updated its table on confirmed human cases of the H5N1 virus. The number of cases since 2003 now stands at 394, 248 of whom have died.WHO has published the latest statistics for the cumulative number of confirmed human cases of H5N1 avian influenza A reported.
