UK Egg Statistics - Fourth Quarter 2008

UK - The throughput of eggs through UK packing stations in 2008 was 24.68 million cases - 4.9 per cent more than in 2007. The increase came largely from free-range production, which now accounts for almost one in every three eggs produced in the UK.
