Chicken Industry Set to Protect Environment

The US chicken industry spends millions on an annual basis for the protection of various aspects of the environment and works closely with farmers who raise chickens, assisting them in proper environmental management.

The National Chicken Council has come up with a document entitled Chicken Industry in the Chesapeake Bay Region and Across The Country Is Committed to Environmental Protection. The report highlights some of the extra care taken to ensure that proper environmental manangement is observed within the chicken sector.
