New Cobb Europe appointments
EU - With the Cobb Europe regional office moving from the Netherlands to the UK, a series of new appointments has been announced by the company.
The new planning and export manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa is Stuart Burrell who has been working in this department for the past nine years, six in the UK and the last three years in the office at Putten in the Netherlands.
Working with Stuart is the new planning co-ordinator Sam Harding who joined Cobb in 1998 and has worked both in marketing and as technical services co-ordinator. Previously, she was with manufacturing and publishing companies in Essex.
Two other moves see the appointment of Chrissie Partington as human resources director and bring Mark Sams to the company as financial controller.
Chrissie Partington has worked for Cobb for almost 18 years in research, production, quality assurance and administration departments, 15 years in the UK and the last three years in the Netherlands.
Mark Sams qualified as a chartered accountant in Ipswich 1992 and then worked for a haulage firm at Felixstowe for five years. For the past nine years he has been financial director of a Suffolk vehicle leasing and refrigerated storage business which he and several colleagues set up in 1997.
Two further newcomers to the regional team at Colchester are office administrator Colleen Durrant and receptionist Kim Silk.
