Print This Page Big Dutchman Anounce Natura 60: A Spectacular New Generation Of Aviaries
GERMANY - The unparalleled concept is based on the idea to decisively reduce management requirements in laying hen aviary housing and, at the same time, increase the product reliability.

The smaller group sizes in Natura60 aviaries are much easier to control. In the starting phase there are, for example, only 130-140 birds per group. This is a first-time concept in aviary housing. The integrated barrier of the litter area which can be operated either manually or automatically is another feature that ensures more safety when the birds are placed. It also guarantees an ideal first supply for a good start into the laying period.
Natura60 is designed as 2-level system and fully complies with the requirements on alternative layer housing. The aviary can be utilised to the full extend as a single row and allows for the highest utilisation rate of the surface area, even at a building height starting at 2.40 m and standard house width.
