Print This Page Khanh Viet Ostrich Investment
VIETNAM - The Khanh Viet ostrich farm in Hoa Vang district in Da Nang in central Vietnam has established a fully automated production and management system, even including camera's monitoring each ostrich's growth, according to the Vietnamese News Agency.Tran Minh Duc, the farm's owner, said the use of IT will help improve the farm's operational efficiency.
The 15-hectare farm, which was established in April 2004, currently has 500 ostriches, and plans to be raising 1,500 female ostriches by 2007.
In addition, the farm plans to open an ostrich meat processing facility with a monthly production capacity of 20 tonnes.
