Print This Page Azerbaijan sees fall in first-half egg production
AZERBAIJAN - Azerbaijan's State Statistics Committee reports that Azerbaijan produced 407 million eggs in the first half of this year according to the Interfax news agency.This is a year-on-year decrease of 13.5 per cent.
Local analysts in Baku say that the relatively large year-on-year decrease in production in the January to June period is likely to put upward pressure on egg prices on the domestic market.
