Spartan Equipment new dealer for South Africa
THE NETHERLANDS - At VIV Europe Vencomatic signed a dealer contract with the company Spartan Equipment from South Africa for the distribution of Vencomatic equipment in the South African poultry market.
The contract was signed by mr. Philip Bronkhorst, general manager of Spartan Equipment, mr. Cor van de Ven, general manager of Vencomatic, and mr. Peter-Bart Lichtenbeld, area sales manager of Vencomatic.
For over many years, Spartan Equipment has been active in the South African poultry sector. The owners of the company, mr. Philip Bronkhorst and mr. Niel Malan, started with a layer hatchery. Later on, the company focussed on the installation of poultry equipment in the layer sector. Since a few years, Spartan also entered the broiler market.
The head office of the company, based in Midrand, has a large store and warehouse. The sales of equipment is supported by an office in Pietermartizburg. Other companies who are represented by Spartan are Meyn, Petersime, Chore-Time, Diamond, Techno and Val. With the dealership of Vencomatic equipment the company fills a gap in their product portfolio, for egg collection and transport with broiler breeders and non-caged layers. Mr. Philip Bronkhorst stated: “The Vencomatic products fit very well in our product package and will give added value to our customers.”
Vencomatic has also been active in the South African market for many years. Existing customers of the Vencomatic equipment can still be serviced by Spartan Equipment. Mr. Peter-Bart Lichtenbeld, area sales manager of Vencomatic, is very pleased with the decision of Spartan to represent Vencomatic in the South African market: “With Spartan Equipment as our new dealer, we are confident of a steady future for the sales of our products in the South African market.”
