Despite the pressures of war and economic uncertainty, the farm has embarked on a major expansion, positioning itself as a key supplier in the country’s food security efforts.
In October 2024, Limanskaya imported 20,000 Hy-Line W-80 parentstock, marking a major milestone in their growth. These birds have now reached production, supplying day-old chicks for the company’s newly built pullet-growing facilities. As a vertically integrated operation, Limanskaya manages everything from breeding stock to pullets to commercial egg production.
The farm’s commercial layer operation has a current capacity of 600,000 hens, which will soon be filled with their home-grown W-80 pullets. In addition, the company will supply over 2 million day-old chicks annually to other egg producers throughout Ukraine. The houses are outfitted with Hellmann systems for both pullet and layer cages, ensuring modern, efficient housing and care.
