CEVAC® S.Gallinarum  - For the active immunization against Salmonella gallinarum from CEVA SANTE ANIMALE

COMPOSITION

CEVAC® S.GALLINARUM contains live Salmonella gallinarum strain (strain 9R), naturally attenuated and non-pathogenic for chicken, in freeze dried form.

INDICATIONS

For the active immunization of healthy chickens from 4 weeks of age against infections due to:
- Salmonella Gallinarum,
- Salmonella Pullorum.
This vaccine can also be used for chicks to stimulate active cross protection against infections caused by other Salmonellae of group D such as Salmonella Enteritidis.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE

One dose (0.2 mL) per animal. The vaccine must be injected subcutaneously.

Birds can be vaccinated once, or preferably twice, with an interval of at least 4 weeks, ideally 6-8 weeks. The first vaccination can be done from 4 weeks of age. The vaccine should be given at least two weeks before transfer of the birds to the production area.

STORAGE

- Store vaccine between +2°C and +8°C or 35°F and 45°F
- Protect from light
