The House of Raeford Farms workers from the plant in Greenville, South Carolina, pleaded not guilty in court yesterday to using fake Social Security numbers and counterfeit documents, according to WYFF4.

Prosecutors allege that these were among a larger group of poultry plant workers who attempted to use invalid alien registration and Social Security numbers, or used false names.

After authorities said the workers were in the country illegally, bail was denied.

The plant is operated by Raeford subsidiary, Columbia Farms.
