Rose Poultry Managing Director Dies

DENMARK - Olli Antniemi, a member of HKScan's Management Board and managing director of the Danish company Rose Poultry A/S, died suddenly last week. He was 52.

Mr Antniemi had been employed by the HKScan Group since 1996 and had held a variety of key posts within the Group during the strong process of internationalisation in recent years.

Prior to taking up the position of managing director of the Danish company Rose Poultry A/S, he had been senior vice president of strategy and development at HKScan, managing director of Scan AB, executive vice president of HKScan’s Baltic Group as well as marketing and exports director at HK Ruokatalo.

The HKScan Group and its employees in the company's various market areas pay tribute to the memory of their well-liked executive and share in the deep sorrow of his family and friends.

The duties of managing director at Rose Poultry A/S will be assumed until further notice by Mr Antniemi’s deputy, sales director Arne L. Jensen.
