After more than one year and discussions with several interested parties, the operating assets of Harles & Jentzsch GmbH and its subsidiary, Protank GmbH have been sold, according to Hamburg liquidator, Heiko Fialski.

With the consent of members of the creditors' committee, OleoServ GmbH has taken over the facility in Uetersen and the majority of workers.

Mr Fialski explained that given the difficult circumstances of Harles & Jentzsch, its creditors, employees and the city of Uetersen are satisfied that the sale of the business assets has been achieved. He added that the aims have been met, namely that the production facility and a number of the jobs have been permanently retained.

The liquidator will now focus on compensation for the creditors.
