More HPAI Reported in Quang Ninh
VIET NAM - The Vietnamese veterinary authorities have reported an outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza in Quang Ninh province.

The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) received follow-up report no. 68 on 2 March.
Out of a total of 430 susceptible birds, 300 cases were reported. 200 deaths were discovered and the remaining 230 birds were destroyed.
The source of the outbreak remains inconclusive. Several measures have been applied to contain the situation.
