ILT Breaks out Again in Norway

NORWAY - The veterinary authority has identified avian infectious laryngotracheitis (ILT) as the cause of death of 10 birds in a 20-bird flock in Western Norway.

The outbreak started on 31 July. All birds died as a result of ILT, the source of which is unknown.

The farm on which the outbreak occurred has been quarantined.

The last outbreak of ILT in the country was in April 2012.
