This year's Turkey Science and Production Conference attracted more than 230 delegates from over 25 countries and provided an excellent opportunity to learn about turkey developments, do business and make new friends.

The 2013 event - the seventh of these conferences, which was formerly the 'Technical Turkeys' conference - will be held on 10 and 11 April at Carden Park, Chester, UK.

Organiser, Dr James Bentley, explains that the new venue is larger and can accommodate more delegates on site and has improved facilities for sponsors. Plans for speakers are well underway with various speakers on turkey health and nutrition already agreed and other relevant topics being pursued.

The focus next year will be on successful turkey production with reduced antibiotic use and the challenges this brings.

Details will shortly be available online [www.turkeytimes.co.uk] or contact [email protected] for further information.
