Brazilian Poultry Companies Head to Sial

BRAZIL - Brazilian poultry companies are taking 30 potential buyers of birds and eggs from Africa and Eastern Europe on a visit to the Brazilian booth at one of the world’s leading food industry fairs, Sial, in Paris, France.

According to information from the Brazilian Poultry Union (Ubabef), 15 Brazilian companies will participate in the event from 21 to 25 October.

In a press statement, the Ubabef said that approximately 1,000 people are expected to visit the Brazilian booth, which has a 350 square metre area and is the result of a partnership with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex). The exhibiting companies at the event will be Big Frango, C Vale, Pif Paf, Naturovos, Coasul, Lar, Globoaves, Super Frango, Céu Azul, Tramonto, Rivelli, Villa Germania, Diplomata, Unifrangos, and Copacol.

“It will be a great opportunity to market Brazilian poultry products via the brands Brazilian Chicken and Brazilian Egg,” said the Ubabef president Francisco Turra according to the press statement. Sial should receive over 140,000 visitors and 5,900 exhibitors this year.
