New Cobb Appointment for Southern Africa

AFRICA - Pieter Oosthuysen has been appointed key accounts and regional technical manager for Cobb Europe in southern Africa

Pieter Oosthuysen obtained an honours degree in nutrition and reproduction at the university of Free State, and began his career as a lecturer in animal production at the Glen College of Agriculture and the Mangosuthu Technicon.

Then after managing a regional breeder operation for Rainbow, he established Cobb South Africa in 2000 developing the market for Cobb broiler breeders in South Africa and eventually Namibia.

Pieter has continued his professional development with a management development programme at the University of Stellenbosch business school as dux student and a leadership programme at the University of Cape Town business school.
