Registration exceeded expectations. Wise planning, however, ensured that there were enough rooms for all participants at the beautiful OceanBlue and Sand® Beachfront Resort in Punta Cana.

Jamesway designed the incubation seminar for everyone associated with hatching and all aspects of hatchery operations and management. Jamesway included in the seminar a variety of learning experiences including presentations, interactive discussions, demonstrations by university professors and influential guest speakers specializing in the poultry industry.

Seminar participants had an opportunity to learn more about performance of Platinum Single Stage machines, how to increase performance in these machines, both for Multi Stage and Platinum incubation systems, plus tips on troubleshooting, and workshops on hatchery ventilation and on Jamesway’s PS501 Multi Stage controller. Topics included egg storage, chick quality and proper vaccination procedures in the hatchery – overall a comprehensive educational opportunity in a beautiful, tropical setting!

The seminar was also the first opportunity for many of the participants to learn about Jamesway’s most advanced Platinum system yet, the Platinum 2.0™ with ThinkWise™ Technology. They had the chance to learn about the Delta Drive™ Embryo Control System, which has teamed up with Jamesway’s Pilot™ Egg Sensor, already a very popular tool for increasing the hatch rate in the successful Platinum 1 line of incubation systems. Delta Drive™ is proving to be another innovative incubation tool to improve not only hatch rate but also the overall health of birds throughout the growth period.

Seminar participants were also supplied with information about HatchSense™ Chick Monitor/Hatch Booster, a system unique to Jamesway that improves hydration, another way that Jamesway improves overall health of the hatching birds.
