According to The Fiji Times Online, Rooster Poultry (Future Farms Ltd) general manager Dallas Foon said they would continue with their improvement programmes and drive more efficiency in the business.

"As all businesses we are continuously reviewing our processes to improve efficiency and also deliver high quality product based on our customer needs.

"We are expanding our livestock area so that we can utilise the recently increased capacity at our production plant.

"Sales had been challenging in early 2013, however, with certain changes in our business strategies we are satisfied with our 2013 overall performance," he said.

In terms of expansion, Mr Foon said they increased their plant capacity by nearly double last year, which was the reason they could supply about 100 per cent of their customers' needs during the Christmas season.

He said the company was looking at expanding this year.
