This leads to less heater cycle times and lower fuel costs. Research studies have found the use of stir fans can reduce fuel costs by up to 25 per cent in older houses and 10 per cent in newer houses. Other benefits of stir fans include drier litter, lower ammonia concentrations, and better flock performance.

The DirectAire 18” and 20” Stir Fans have a 1/5 HP sealed motor with steel ball bearings, extending the shaft life of the motor. Each DirectAire Stir Fan has a mounting bracket to easily swivel and tilt fan for ease of cleaning and to change the direction and angle of house air circulation.

For increased efficiency, the DirectAire Poultry Stir Fan’s have a widespread grill with two-inch openings that reduce dirt build-up and allow for easier cleaning of the fan.

DirectAire Stir Fans have a two-speed switch for high and low speed settings. The 18” DirectAire Stir Fan operates at a low speed of 3,500 and a high speed of 4,000 cfm while the 20” DirectAire Stir Fans operates at a low speed of 4,350 cfm and a high speed of 5,250 cfm.

Each DirectAire Stir Fan has a six-foot pre-wired cord for 120 V / 60 HZ. The DirectAire 18” Stir Fan is UL Listed and BESS Lab Tested.

DirectAire 18” and 20” Stir Fans are covered by a full two-year warranty.
