The event, which was held at the Belton Woods Hotel in Grantham, brought together 25 members of Moy Park’s agriculture team to recognise those who have delivered continuous and sustained improvement in agriculture standards over the past year. Awards included ‘Best Company Managed Farm’, ‘Best Contract Grower’ and ‘Best Performance of the Year’.

Barney Kay, General Manager Broilers, GB, said: “Farming is at the heart of our business and we’re extremely proud to work with over 800 of the very best growers from across the UK, who employ the highest standards on their farms, ensuring sustainability, welfare and quality are their priorities.”

He added: “This event provided an excellent opportunity to recognise the hard work and dedication of our agriculture team, growers and farm managers from across East Anglia, Lincolnshire and Ashbourne. We remain firmly committed to our farming base in GB and Northern Ireland and we will continue to work closely together to lay the foundations for future growth.”

Moy Park has recently launched a major grower expansion programme, which aims to increase breeder and broiler growing capacity by up to 400 poultry houses in Northern Ireland over the next 24 months.
