Big Dutchman presents the novelty for the first time at VIV Europe in Utrecht: The hot-air blower achieves an energy efficiency of 92-98 per cent. This saves up to 25 per cent of heating costs.

The Thermorizer is a heating device with flue gas exhaust. A chimney guides the exhaust gases out of the house thanks to the self-contained technology. Thermorizer also benefits animal health and well-being – which, in turn, positively affects the production results: A very large throwing range of 60 meters and more ensures homogenous distribution of the heated air.

This leads to comfortable temperatures throughout the entire house and healthy animals. In addition, the noise level of the hot-air blower is much lower compared to conventional heaters, which means that the birds experience less stress.

Other features: Poultry managers can set the heat output individually between 60 and 100 per cent and switch between operation with propane and natural gas without having to replace any component parts. Maintenance, handling and cleaning are made simple through the high IP protection rating of the hot-air blower.

Another asset is the dimensions: Thermorizer is both small and tall which means that in rearing cage houses the devices will not be in the farmers’ way during their daily work. A control light is installed on top of each device which makes it easy to spot unit failures right in the service room.

In future, Thermorizer will easily be connected to the BigFarmNet Manager by means of a communications interface. This allows poultry farmers to view and regulate important data, such as running times and the temperature of the device, on the computer in real time.

You can find Big Dutchman at Hall 12, booth no. D060+C060.
