US - The first Virginia poultry has been exported to China after a seven-year ban was lifted last month.

The first shipment left Perdue Foods Inc's cold-storage facility in Norfolk and is expected to arrive in Shenzhen in Guangdong state on 3 August, according to the Augusta Free Press.
