Faccenda Foods has seen sales grow for the fourth consecutive year, rising to £520 million in April 2014 above the prior year’s £365.2 million.

Insider Media reports that pre-tax profits surged by over £10 million to £15 million.

Expansion of the East Midlands-based group is down to strong performance in its chicken and turkey segments and expanding convenience foods, including its ‘roast in the bag’ range.

Managing director, Andy Dawkins, eyed up plans to invest in manufacturing and staff.

He said: “We knew that continued success this year would be underpinned by leveraging the benefits of running one integrated food business, investing in our supply capability and providing first-to-market innovation for our customers and we believe we have been able to deliver these.

“Despite a general economic environment that continues to challenge we have been able to generate growth through working closely with our retail and food service partners, growing and succeeding with them.”
