New Chairman at Poultry and Egg Association
US – The world’s largest poultry industry organisation has confirmed new personnel to drive the industry in 2015.

By: The US Poultry and Egg Association board elected as chairman, Sherman Miller, chief operating officer at Cal-Maine Foods, promoting him from vice chairman.
He replaces Elton Maddox, Wayne Farms, and past chairman of the National Chicken Council, who presented Mr Miller with a “working man’s gavel” in 2014.
In a meeting held as part of the 2015 International Production and Processing Expo (2015), the board also voted in Paul Hill of West Liberty Foods as vice chairman, Jerry Moye, Cobb Vantress, as treasurer and Tom Hensley, Fieldale Farms, as secretary.
