US - Following its success at previous shows, will again be participating at the Midwest Poultry Federation Convention this year.

clock icon 3 minute read (officially known as 'ORKA Food Technology') will be participating at 2015 Midwest Poultry Federation Convention from 18 to 19 March 2015 at St Paul, Minnesota, USA, following the great success in the previous shows.

The company will be exhibiting its EggAnalyzer™, which can determine Haugh units, USDA Grade, weight and yolk colour in 17 seconds, Eggshell Thickness Gauge, Egg Force Reader and Digital Haugh Tester.

You are invited to visit the company at Booth #602 (under the company name of 'ORKA Food Technology', near the entrance of A-hall) to look and feel its devices with your own eyes!

The current ORKA range comprises:

  • The Egg Analyzer: this instrument determines the weight of eggs, albumen height, Haugh units, yolk colour and USDA grade for routine quality control and regulatory compliance
  • The Egg Force Reader: this device measures the force required to crush a shell and is a direct measure of marketability
  • The Eggshell Thickness Gauge: this instrument uses ultrasound to measure the thickness of shells for quality control and research applications.
  • The Digital Haugh Tester (new!): this instrument is extremely precise and friendly to use in order to assist you with the correct process of reading of the albumen height.

The ORKA range of instruments is used extensively in QC laboratories operated by egg producers, packers, universities, regulatory authorities and primary breeders.
