Based in Tunisia, Zied Azzez will be responsible for servicing the local North African market, utilizing his local knowledge and language and technical expertise. He will spend the next few months completing his induction training across the region to meet and visit Aviagen® customers. This appointment compliments Aviagen’s strategy of employing local operatives who speak the customer’s language.

Neil Clark, Aviagen Regional Technical Manager for TMEA, said: “Appointing Zied to this role means it is the first time we will have someone based in Tunisia to service local customers. It means that Zied fully understands the market and the needs of our customers. His appointment also demonstrates the further enhancement and commitment Aviagen has for its local technical service offering in the region.”

Mr Azzez added: “I’m very excited to have been appointed to the role and hope my experience and understanding of the local markets will stand me in good stead and help add to Aviagen’s success in the region.”

Prior to joining Aviagen, he studied Animal Production Engineering in Tunisia before going on to work at ETS Azzez, a feed mill and hatchery run by his uncle, where he worked for four years.
