The four-day event held last month in Algiers, showcases products and firms from the agricultural and forestry industry and welcomed a host of international firms.

Three of Aviagen’s AA international team members, Andre Costa, Technical Manager, Alain Silvin, Sales Manager and Puzant Dakessian, International Commercial Manager, were present throughout the event to provide support at AAA’s stand and help strengthen ties within the industry.

Discussing the event, Alain Silvin said: “It was a very successful event for AA in what is an increasingly important market for us. Our stand was always buzzing with people; very busy and active with visitors in and out all of the time, which was great to see. The AAA team members were on hand to answer questions or hold meetings.

“The Algerian poultry market is huge and one that is expanding all of the time. It all points to a very promising future for the industry in Algeria.”
